Destruction:
Stopping
a target vehicle by taking out its tires is a tried and tested
practice. The way in which this is achieved is critical. Failing to
take out all tires in the first instance may create a scenario where
the vehicle still has drive to one or more of its tires. The threat
being that the target vehicle remains mobile with little or no control
- but with drive from the wheels.

- The sharp
leading edge of the blade pierces deep into the tires cavity.
- The top
sharpened radius slashes a long gash as the tire rolls over.
- The
sharpened vertical edge of the blade slices outwards as the tire
tears away.
- A minimum
of two blades enter each tire as it passes over.

exhaustive testing conducted by an independent team of quality control
engineers and other third parties (the German Authorities B.G.S, T.U.V.,
and the British Defense Evaluation Research Agency), it had been found
that the instant destruction of tire cavities is the most effective
and safe means of stopping vehicles. The guaranteed destruction of all
of the vehicles tires ensures that no drive is available from any of
the vehicles wheels - rapidly halting the progress of the hostile
vehicle.

Motor Drive Unit:
The
CATSCLAW Motor Drive Unit (MDU) can be operated by either remote
control or by land line. Security of the remote unit is ensured by
using high security frequencies (chance combination of over 16,000,000
to 1).

over 65 feet (20 metres) of CATSCLAW blades.
- All
CATSCLAW blades are raised straight up - ensuring an
uninterrupted row of blades.

MDU can be activated by secure remote control from over 260 feet
(80 metres).
- Combined
with heating cables or heating pads, CATSCLAW MDU operates in
